hiii,
if you know the flash/silverlight then just create using flash/silverlight
basically this menu is one type of animation in flash.

I don't see anything different in the menu of the link.

Just, selected item has a different look n feel. For that, you just need to set another CSS sytle for selected menu item. Try out.

the background color of menu is green as u can see there...but when one clicks on another link a new page opens and that link's background color changes to red...i wan such a thing to be implemented, if you can help me with this with step wise solution, then it will be great help...thanks

The menu in the given site is a flash menu. You can easily create such menus in flash. If you are using asp.net then I would recommend using silverlight for the same.

An expert in jQuery and HTML could perhaps do a similar thing using animations on various DIVs but that would be little complicated.
