Please, what version of MySQL is compartible with VS 2008 i.e .NET 3.5 ?

I once downloaded a version of MySQl only to be told it works only with .NET 4.0 and I use VS 2008.

So , I wish to know the version of MySQl I need to download for VS 2008 or .NET 3.5.
