How would we know? We do not know you, your capabilities, what your skill set is, what your interests are, what your career goals are, or anything else about you. You, and only you, can make this decision for you.

With .Net u can build wide varity of application for mobile, web, windows.
i have been working in web application using Asp.Net MVC and Jquery and i see this type of application are huge in demand as every bussiness needs such an application.
And interestingly these runs on mobile too.

Further more these application and database application and lot of work is done at that part.
So Database designing,Writing Optimized query, stored procedure, function , views on sql server is a majaor part of any developement for these sort of application.
