Aforge.NET - car plate recognition

Hello Guys,

I am trying to do car plate recognition with C# using AForge DLLs. is there anyone did this project before with Aforge? if there is , can you share it with me? thanks a lot

it finds the license plate from the car image then read the plate. if you did this kind of thing before, can u share its codes(written in C#) ?

Those are called license plates. People pay a lot for such applications.
Please clarify:
- you want to find the license plates on arbitrary image (on the road)
- you want to find and identify (not read it's content) a plate in a controlled situation (in a parking place)
- you want to read plate content; if so: what country standards, what character sets?
- ...

For a second I thought car plates means the fancy plates fitted to the wheels of the car....
