Gridview autoformat Horizontal and vertical lines

I am using a gridview where i want to get a formatted output like horizontal and vertical lines,when i choose an autoformat and at runtime the horizontal and vertical lines are not appearing.Any help on this??

I didn't get the question? Forget about Gridlines it will be there by default. What is the issue?

Yeah by default when we use the auto format we will get the grid lines but I am unable to get them.

I have already enabled that option but still I am not getting the gridlines.
