I wouldn't say C# is not a choice of language. It totally depends upon the UI, types of platforms you want to support & finally your comfort level with a particular language. For desktop based applications the basic windowing system & widgets needs to be available in the language library. For web based there are many options.

Prasad, i am developing such desktop application in c# which is small ERP having account Book ie.
1.Journal,
2.Ledger,
3.Balance Sheet,
4.Profit & Loss,
5.cash Book,
6.Bank Book etc for company audit at end of financial year,
as you know its compulsory.
But i am not satisfy with the system UI,functionality.

then how to improve it & make best ERP for every small company.

please help...sir...

As I said earlier, the choice depends upon your comfort level. In my opinion however desktop app will allow you to offer much richer user experience to end users compared to web based app.

Solution 2

Creating a complete accounting system from scratch is a huge undertaking. Commercial packages like this have taken many man years to develop and refine. Find yourself a project more in keeping with your skills and the resources available to you.

You are asking how to create a complete application, but that is not a question that can be answered in a Quick Answers forum. It is up to you to go and do the research into the subject(s), and design your application based on that research and your users' requirements. And, as I already mentioned, creating an accounting package that complies with the legal rules in your country is not a simple task.
