Microsoft Dynamics has managed and unmanaged solutions. An unmanaged solution is basically one that is in development and isn't ready to be deployed. A managed solution has been packaged and prepared to be deployed.

The unit tester can't test your unmanaged solution because you haven't packaged it for deployment by converting it to a managed solution. As soon as you convert it, you can run your unit tests.
