There's no difference! MVC is a part of ASP.NET. Please, see: ASP.NET MVC Overview[^]

My 4 this time.

The question is total absurd, of course.

But your explanation could be a bit more accurate. First and foremost, is MVC a part of ASP.NET? Yes and no? It is "packaged" with it, but I would rather consider MVC as a framework on top of ASP.NET platform.

"No difference" can be understood only figuratively, so it could confuse something (especially the inquirer who was so naive to ask such a question), because this expression is usually understood as "two things are absolutely identical", which is wrong. You could have said that the concept of "difference" cannot be applied to this case at all (the whole and the part, two things working together, and so on). In fact, the concept of "difference" rarely makes any certain sense, this is more of a figure of speech, not a strict concept.

Thank you, Sergey for your valuable comment. I was bit lazy in explanation ;)
