Through this video I have tried for showcase following:

Importing Data from Excel (.xls)
Creating a dynamic and portable SSIS package for the same.
Creating a deployment utility through the manifest.
Deploy the package using the manifest
Also using the dtsconfig for creating a dynamic package.
