I don't get it.
Are you suggesting people to send the resumes in Powerpoint format?
Do you honestly think that every resume is proof read by HR?
Haven't you heard about resume screening/scanning software.
My suggestion is keep your resume to 2 pages.

I am not suggesting to send employers your resume in PowerPoint format.
What I am saying is, this is a nice way to communicate summary of job experience and education effectively. You can use this format to display your resume in your online profile or if asked by your employer.

Every employer look for some kind certification now a day, why would you consider them negative on a resume ? Can you elaborate more ?

There are other certifications than the ones I think you are thinking about. Not all certs are worthless. IMHO.

It's an interesting idea though I am not sure I'd personally use that.
You could use a point-by-point style with a word document or a pdf too. But to make a slide-by-slide presentation out of it may not be well-accepted by some folks.
But if I was looking to hire someone and he sent me this sort of resume, it'd probably make him stand out among a heap of other resumes.

This looks like spamvertisement to me. Good luck getting a job, but keep it off here.

spamvertisement, thats a new word !
But I assure you this is neither a spam nor an advertisement, and I am not looking for a job. If you notice the article is in the scrapbook category. This is my personal thought on a new way of presenting resume.

Hey Quartz,
The download link for the template is broken.
And the zip download from the CodeProject server contains your resume (and not the template).

Thanks for the message. I have updated both of them.
