Why? They don't negate the need to explicitly set a type and adhere to its constraints. All it is, is a shortcut way of avoiding having to write multiple variations of constructor. I would argue, though, if you're needing to cope with so many optional parameters, it's a fair indication that your class is trying to do far too much. I've yet to see a case where a class adhering to SRP would need to have so many possible constructors.
