why worry, vs21 coming soon (means whatever state 19 is in it'll stay there).

don't get too excited but rumor has it with 21 there will be a new icon.

the rest, that is what they don't remove, will be familiar but 'better'

and more new obscure (mostly unnecessary for people that craft decent code) c# features too
- the kiddies will go wild ... yay!!! let's update 90% of the git repositories even though it's still in preview

Wow, that dialog sucks. Enough people seem to hate it to have created:

Which solved my problem -- I'm trying to open a project using an online template, and with the default VS2019 new project dialog, I gave up after 5 minutes trying to figure out where "from online template" was hiding, if it exists at all.

I don't bother with sleep mode. The monitors black out after a few hours but that's it.

It (the main one) pretty much runs 24/7 with an occasional restart.
