Folding@Home[^] - Distributed research
Download[^] and install the client. Enter team number 11561 in the settings for Team Code Project[^], and let it run. It eats unused CPU time, an internet connection to get new jobs from time to time, and if you let it run unattended your power bill will be a bit higher. Results of the research enter the public domain.
Why do I Fold?
I like the fact that my PC is doing something worthwhile when I'm not using it.
The team competition is fun. I'm sufficiently juvenile that I check my standing against other Code Project members every so often .

I Fold too. my Linux box at home is runing the Folding module 24/7. I also like the fact that I am helping do something worthwhile on a larger scale in the world. I had been a part of the Seti@Home project as well and enjoyed the idea that if any other life is out there, my lowly PC might provide the right calculation data set to find them.
I check the distributed computing sites often to see what new projects are available and look for ones to join. I figure, if I'm not using the computing power, and I leave the machines sitting there, I should have them do something good and keep them from having idle hands, cause we all know where that can lead....

I'm starting an InstallShield project. I've used InstallShield Express in the past, along with Wise InstallBuilder. I'm looking for the following regarding InstallShield Developer 8:- Experiences, both good and bad.
- Suggestions, and "do's and don'ts".
- Links to good web sites and/or newsgroups.
Thanks for your help!

1. i worked on 6.5 version of that it worked like a champ then
i will recommend everybody about installshield
2. loads of feature (almost everything you want to customize in your setup.)
3. Installshield help online as well as the built in is the best
you get every thing there
4. Don'ts =" if i remember well if you create an update for an application make sure the upgrade project GUID is the same as the original project
cheers.
