As a music addict I need music on my ears to get anything productive done, and I need new stuff every once in a while. I found a great online shop, CeDe (they ship to switzerland only, I guess) and I'm already baffled with Awe since they manage to get the stuff shipped within less than two hours - No idea how they do that, but I guess there are Pet monkeys involved. Now, fellow addicts, how do you get your stuff delivered in other countries?
I will never again mention that Dalek Dave was the poster of the One Millionth Lounge Post, nor that it was complete drivel.

I prefer the comfort of CeDe, especially since the 'normal' CD shops around here seem to be filled up with 'modern' crap, and not the stuff I listen to (Dropkick Murphys, Gaslight Anthem, Chuck Ragan, and so on...).
I take the walk once I received the CDs

I want a CD, because I don't want Apple's stupid DCMA protection - It's nice for the Studios, but I don't wanna be tied to my iPod to listen to music for the rest of my life. Spotify may be nice as well, but I prefer to own the stuff I pay for.

I'm amazed that cds still live in the minds of folks much younger than me. I can remember someone in a record shop telling me "cds will never catch on". I have been going to the same shop in Perth (in various locations) for nearly all of the 42 years they have been in existence. I have bought vinyl records then cds and now even vinyl records again from not only the same business but the same staff. I have used the internet also particularly from Europe and the UK. Unfortunately cd cases often break in transit which is why I prefer to pick them up myself.
