I subscribe to Aeon's e-mail newsletter: it's one of my favorite "science and more" web-sites; the others include Quantamagazine.org, NewScientist, Nature, Scientific American ... for literature and contemporary social topics: the New Yorker magazine, Politico, New York Times on-line. For tech-reporting ... number one, of course, is Kent Sharkey right here on CP ... then TechCrunch, ExtremeTech, Verge, The Register, Washington Post on-line, and Los Angeles Times on-line.

I was thinking 8 as a byte and then times x would have made it a word.
