Milt Morgan - Professional Profile

Milt has been a volunteer at several Affordable Housing Communities in the City of Santa Barbara as well as Computers for Families for the past eight years. He has most recently been involved with implementation of his DigitalAge Inclusion plans for Santa Barbara nonprofits. Milt's passion is to use cloud technologies to create Wireless Broadband Communities for multi-generational residences. He is building a website that can be used to provide free Internet access to low income children, families and seniors. His past “CFF Blueprint for Replication” Project was selected as a finalist for the Stockholm Challenge 2008. In the same year Civic Ventures invited him to the first Encore Careers Summit at Stanford University for being a “My Encore Moment” contest winner.

Milt's patented real time technology is proposed for this CodeProject; the resulting Windows 8 Desktop App will be able to guaranty time slices needed for creation of a real time environment to support serial communications medical professionals. He used the NASA Glenn Garrett Morgan Commercialization Assistance grant to fund the research and development work needed to migrate mainframe time sharing technology to Intel based microprocessors. Two patents were granted, "System and method for generating high resolution clockticks in a computer system" and "Real-Time Communications For Speeding Up Packet Transmission", for his inventions. A third patent, which is pending, addresses Intel’s new Ultrabook Platform.

Milt is an Intel Software Partner as well as a registered IT Professional with Microsoft, Google and Microsoft.
