Hi
I am developing a ASP.Net application. My application have 5 layers. (1) Web Layer (2) Business Logic Layer (3) Data Access Layer (4) Business Entity (5) System Framework.
I want to put Exception Management Application Block (EMAB) in SystemFramework layer, so that it can be accessible from all layer. In SystemFramework layer i put EMAB (2 dlls Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.ExceptionManagement and Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.ExceptionManagement.Interfaces.dll), ExceptionPublisher.cs and ExceptionXMLPublisher.cs. I can access ExceptionPublisher.cs and ExceptionXMLPublisher.cs from other layers but to publish error i have to access ExceptionManager.Publish which is not accessible.
Anyone know what to do.

hi there,
first, u need to get familiar with System.Drawing namespace
then, u can read and follow some useful articles related to it to build your own chart control in asp.net.

i wrote the ms Word Addin. when i want to uninstall it. after the uninstall Process
Commplted.
the addin exists in ms word enviroment and dosen't work how can i remove it from
enviroment.

u can try this go to start menu click on control panel then go to add or remove programs if ur addin is there just remove it.

i rempved it from add/remove program and all this is ok.
when i return in ms enviroment .the addin exists but thier function dosen't work.
now i want to remove from word enviroment too.
what's the problem?

Hi im using a data view to populate my datagrid but am unable to use DataGridTableStyle. When populating my datagrid directly with a DataTable I set the DataGridTableStyle.MappingName to my DataTable name and am able to change the look of the table and columns without any trouble. When using the dataview i get no errors just a blank datagrid. Is it not possible to use the two together?
Here is the code anyway, if someone could spot my mistakes it would be great!

OK I want to know the best way to go about doing this as there as so many ways and they tend to get messy.
All I want is a way to add entries to a table, with Field1, Field2 etc.. (like a database table), be able to arrange by name, filter by first letter of Field1, and most importantly to be able to edit the values in the actual table and save the results.
I am guessing a DataGrid linked to a MSACCESS db, but is there another better way? I don't like the lack of usability of the DataGrid for layout and functionality. Also I need fields with an URL link that when you click it can open it

OK we have an old quaderno at work (palmtop) that has DOS 5/6 not sure which, and we use it to basically edit, and transfer text files to a PC and the CNC machines via serial using intersrv to get files to and from the PC, and a program called PSISTEM to get the files off the CNC machines, which I think just uses intersrv as an underlay.
My question is, I can create a program for the PC as normal but how would a create a network to transfer the files to the palmtop vai COM1 using the serial cable, bearing in mind the palm only has dos 5/6.
Also can I create a program to easily select and edit files in dos instead of using dos commands to browse to the files and then using the dos EDIT? Maybe learing some simple qbas or something?

The best way to do it is to use DirectShow. You can try to interop it or to use managed extension of DirectShow 9.
There are couple of article on CP about DirectShow usage in C# applications, for example here is one [^].
You can look at my "Motion Detection" article for a sample of communication with local capture device such as USB webcam.

I belief, that most Webcams support TWAIN and/or WIA as interface. Here in CodeProject you finds Wrappers for TWAIN and WIA.
TWAIN is a normed API to read still images like scanner and webcams.
WIA is the newer API (and supported since Windows 2K).

Im selvamuthukumar i need a help about image processing using c#.Net Win Application.Actulay i have a image that is face of a man.I want to divide a face in to various zones. Input: Skin segmentation image, 3 coordinates that provide the location of the center of the eyes and mouth. Output: The face should be divide in to various zones for Example draw a curve in one eye is one zone . Pixels within each zone must be uniquely identified.

Hello
I think that my article "Image Processing Lab in C#" can be a good start for you. Also there is series of article from Christian Graus about image processing.
So, first of all you can try some color filtering techniques to locate face skin regions. It can be done using RGB or HSL color space. There are filters in my lab for it. Or you can try other color spaces to achieve this task.
For eyes localization you can try also some combinations of color filtering. After binarization you can use blob counter/extractor to locate each object (eyes in your case). The idea of blob extractor can be inspired by Connected Component Labeling.

Are all DLLs in the same directory as the main executable module? If they are, then the application should work. If they are not, then you will get the described exception.

About idea.
You can define a color range for face skin. For example, you can define a range around yellow color and use it for filtering. So, only pixels, which color falls into the specified range, are preserved and other pixels are filled with background color.
There are many works utilizing the idea. And different color spaces were researched for applying to the task.

Thanks for ur reply. Now i got a center coordinate[center coordinate of a image is image.width/2 and image.hight/2 is it correct] of a imge.using this cooridinate to i filter the color of a image and get a edge of a image. i need a sample coding for filtering the image using that center coodinate.
