I guess to keep things simple the good old registration serial still works the best, from a end users perspective, but price plays an important role as it will determine what type of protection should be used in the system.

As we all know by now we cant protect software with dongles and registration key/pair reverse engineering will always come into play all we can do is make the game hard and at the same time keep the end user happy.

Before we can buld something better we need to reverse engineer.
