It depends on whether the question relates to cliffs above land or sea...
Cape Enniberg in the Faroe Islands has the highest vertical cliff above the sea in the world (754 m). As the Faroe Islands play football within Europe, I guess this makes it the highest cliff above sea in Europe...
The Troll wall in Norway is the highest cliff above land (1100 m).
Both are much higher than Slieve League...
