Use c# class in vb.net class library

thanks for reply.
I am adding reference in my vb.net class library, reference is showing in reference window but can't give reference in my vb.net class.

imports myC#Namespace

it's missing it rather it is in reference but nothing in that. no namespaces in Dll.

hi,

there is one class library named as VBClassLib made up in Vb.Net.
in this library i have 2 vb.net classes.

and another class library is C#ClassLib made up in C#.Net.
there are 2 classes in this class library.

now i am making Dll of C#ClassLib and giving reference in VBClassLib to use methods of C#ClassLib in VBClassLib.

when giving reference that Dll is showing in VBClassLib's references.

But when i am importing C#ClassLib DLL's namespace in VBClassLib's class,
like Imports C#ClassLib.Method

it's giving error that "namespace or type is in the C#ClassLib.Method doesnpt contain ant public member........."

but it's not so. I have made public class in C#ClassLib.

Hello

Can you please help me with the code after the user selected the date for the calender,the date will be displayed in the DateText-Box.I want the week number to be displyed automatically in the week-numberTextbox,after the user selected the date in the calender.....

You send me this code ,and when I try it doesn't work,please help me,with the code,and if possible can you please explain it to me.

In the Calendar1_SelectionChanged event use the following....

System.Globalization.Calendar cal=System.Globalization.CultureInfo.InvariantCulture.Calendar;

WeekTxt.Text= (cal.GetWeekOfYear(Calendar1.SelectedDate, System.Globalization.CalendarWeekRule.FirstDay, DayOfWeek.Monday)).ToString();

u can do that using below code

Dim i As Integer = DateTime.DaysInMonth(2005, 1)

it will give u total no of days of month January and year 2005.

and then display it from 1 to i.

It is always good to encrypt these login details): You can implement this in different ways. Here is a small code snippet which does exactly the same thing using JavaScript:

I have taken a look on this javascript earlier at http://www.webteacher.com/. This is a small example but it should get you started on encrypting these login details.

OK you want the code in C# means encryption at server side
Why you want to Encrypt the value at the server side do you want to store that value in database something like that
Best way is to have own algorithm to encrypt and decrypt the data

Try the above , the value given as string in the function SetSecret is the key I am using , u can use anything. Add a reference to Capicom in ur project and then implement the same

I suppose u have ur solution opened in front of u , You will be able to see a references folder , right click , add reference . Click on the COM tab and there look for Capicom. select the same and then it will appear in the references folder in ur solution. Now in ur page add the line using Capicom.

Is it ok now
