Hi
I am using ASP.NET and VB as code behind. My database is Sybase. and sql. Now my problem is i want to use a select query where one fields name is date(this is keyword in Sybase).
when i used sql i hve given this like
"Select * from mytab where [date]='04/30/2007'"
but this doesnt work for sybase . Can anybody pls help me how to use the keywords in query's

see while using sql i hve given the keywords in brackets like,[date],[user] etc. But i want to know how this is to be done if i use Sybase database.Please

Dear all!
(In advance. Sorry for my bad English).
I’m facing a problem with my ASP application when attempting to browse it in IE6(it works fine in Firefox, IE7 and Opera). After exactly 45 sec it starts to hang, and it hangs for 15 sec. This is going on and on. I have timed it with a stopwatch, and it works fine in exactly 45 sec and then it hangs exactly 15 sec. The rare part is that it starts hanging after 45 sec even though I’m active using the web application or just wait for 45 sec. I have tried it browse the web application from another computer, but the problem still appears. I also tried to install the web solution on another IIS with no improvements.
I hope someone can help me understand this problem!

I will try to explain how the web application works. It includes a Master page with a tree-view control located left, and a contentPlaceHolder in the right position. The first asp page in the contentPlaceHolder holds a gridview control. The gridview control has links on each row that leads to an asp page that holds an asp menu like this:

I've just upgraded our WIndows 2003 (with SBS server) web server to .Net framework 2.0
(it had 1.1 before)
As I have been working on a web parts page on my laptop, hosting it there, working perfectly. I want to transfer it now, so I upgraded it. Created a new application pool for .net2.0 stuff, then used Visual Studio 2005 from my laptop to connect to Http://blahblah/ProjectPoint and make a new website. assume http://blahblah/ is our intranet at the moment.
It created it, I dragged the files across into it, then went to that address in the browswer and I get

SQLExpress database file auto-creation error:
The connection string specifies a local Sql Server Express instance using a database location within the applications App_Data directory. The provider attempted to automatically create the application services database because the provider determined that the database does not exist. The following configuration requirements are necessary to successfully check for existence of the application services database and automatically create the application services database:
If the applications App_Data directory does not already exist, the web server account must have read and write access to the applications directory. This is necessary because the web server account will automatically create the App_Data directory if it does not already exist.
If the applications App_Data directory already exists, the web server account only requires read and write access to the applications App_Data directory. This is necessary because the web server account will attempt to verify that the Sql Server Express database already exists within the applications App_Data directory. Revoking read access on the App_Data directory from the web server account will prevent the provider from correctly determining if the Sql Server Express database already exists. This will cause an error when the provider attempts to create a duplicate of an already existing database. Write access is required because the web server accounts credentials are used when creating the new database.
Sql Server Express must be installed on the machine.
The process identity for the web server account must have a local user profile. See the readme document for details on how to create a local user profile for both machine and domain accounts.
I know this has to do with the app_data directory which has a data base that stores all the customizations people make. Its an intranet website, I want people to be able to customize by windows account.
I've checked permissions on the directory and gave full control to all the groups there.
On my laptop, I can go to Visual Studio, click website and go to ASP.net configuration and it comes up with a web based web.config editing, when I open the website I made remotely, I can't see htat option, why is it gone? Is that where I can fix the error ?
Help is appreciated! I've googled but everyone just says to turn off the login, but I need that for web parts.

There is no time interval.
If you want to get the time interval for 30 minutes go for javascript

Create TimeSpan values for the values, then you can simply do arithmetic with them. Example:

You can add image control in grid by selecting edit temlate on smart link and add image control on it.
Set image's data bindinig on smart link. you can hav it from database or from disk.
