It STILL won't do you any good because each process runs in it's own address space! Think of it this way. Each process thinks it's the only one running under Windows and has access to up to 2 GB's of RAM. The address you get for the function doesn't apply because it sits in a different address space.

i just wanna ask again, about what i posted last night... I am making a module for data entry of grades. But before that, i need first to search for the subjects before entering the grades of the students.
In clicking the search button, it should search a particular subject, then the datagrid should display all the students who enrolled in that subject that i will going to search.
I made a three database in access: 1. database of the students, 2. database of the different subjects. and
3. database of the students and the subjects they enroll.
How can I connect those three database to each other. The display of the datagrid should change if i search another subject. But i can't do it.
I use the OleDbDataAdapter. In the data adapter configuration wizard, will i choose those 3 database in the query builder so that it will be connected? Is this correct???

Uhhh, any particular reason why these are three seperate databases instead of just one database with 3 tables and a couple of relationships?

Because i am making a computerized grading system. But before that, i should first make a data entry of grades of each student enrolled in every subject they had enrolled.
So I made a separate database of the file maintenance of the all the students who enrolled. Then another database for all the subject offer in this semester with each corresponding proffesor in each subject. Then another database for the subjects that each of the students take.
In my module, i will going to search any subject offer, then the datagrid should display all the students who enroll in that subject. The display of the datagrid should also change if i will going to search another subject.
How can i make a query for that??? And how can i connect those database??? Is my module correct???

Nope. To simplify this, you actually have three tables in a single database. Doing it in seperate databases uneccessarily complicates your database.

What you're asking is simple SQL. I suggest picking up a book on it and going through it.
You don't "connect" the tables. You use JOIN clauses in your SQL statements, with properly keyed tables, to get the data out of multiple, related, tables.
There's a bunch of different ways of doing it, but exactly how is determined by your table structure.

after i finished my application and saved it then i set new project setup (for deployment ) then i found that every form that i have made didn't open and the following msg appeared :

Hi,
when you add an event wire through the keyboard, Visual will propose
default method name, which you can accept with TAB key; if you do, it also
creates the event handler containing a single throw statement. You are then
supposed to replace the throw by your actual code; if you forget to do so,
Designer may not like it.
BTW: if you never noticed, try it on a new project and form. Inside the
constructor of the form, type "this.Load+=" now wait a while, accept with
TAB, wait a while, accept with TAB. The Load handler skeleton will be inserted.
Remedy: close the project in Visual. Open the source file with a simple
editor (Notepad) and disable those throw statements. Reopen project in Visual.

There is no article on this. From what it sounds like, you really have to go back to your development machine and test this app some more before you try and deploy it. That message means you either didn't supply code for a method you were supposed to implement, or you're calling code that isn't complete either.

The 'errors listed below' are what we need to see. does your app run OK ? If so, then the problem is that you have some code that is being run by the designer and is blowing up, but works fine in the app when running by itself. This is a serious flaw in VS2005, and the way around it is to move your code around so that the designer can run it, or to add checks in your code to tell if it's being run in the designer and change what code runs, accordingly.

Maybe the Process has no any windows, so I can't use the GetWindowLong API.
And I know nothing about the Module Name of the third Process, so I can't use the GetModuleHandle API,too.

i create two datasource object from data source configuration wizard which have name itemSummary(contain table master) & dsTeamList(contains table individual).
i also create two report named MasterInventoryReport.rdlc (which use itemSummary_master as datasource) and GroupPersonalInfo.rdlc(which use dsTeamList_individual as datasource).
i used reportViewer for display report.
at design time if i select MasterInventoryReport.rdlc report as a reportsource for Reportviewer then it automatically create masterBindingSource as bindingsource
and if i select GroupPersonalInfo.rdlc report as a reportsource for Reportviewer then it automatically create IndividualBindingSource as binding source.
i use following code to generate report.

above code is works well if we print single report at a time.
my problem is that i can not generate both report at a time.
Mean at design time if i set reportsource of Reportviewer to MasterInventoryReport.rdlc then this report is generated properly(i use code specified in MasterInventoryReport procedure) but other report(GroupPersonalInfo.rdlc) give error "A data source instance has not been supplied for the data source dsTeamlist_individual (i use code specified in GroupPersonalInfo procedure)
and at design time if i set reportsource of reportviewer to GroupPersonalinfo.rdlc then this report is generated properly but other report (MasterInventoryReport.rdlc )give error "A data source instance has not been supplied for the data source itemsummary_master
i don't know where i m wrong

Hi to all,
In one function of my classFile I return the Datas through return function to my VB code. I can get the Datasource for DataGrid in VB code, but i cant get it for TextBox. I tried DataBindings also. I have to fill my WebForm TextBoxes with those got Dats. Can anyone help me out ? How to fill TextBox for an datasource.. ?

hello everybody...
i am beginner in this field...
i need some help please...
I've done a project which use crystal report to print a report...
my problem:
- in a form there is a textbox which i make it as a color options..
- when user choose a color the text box will change according what he/she chosen..
- the color will be save as one of the data in a database (SQL Server 2000)..
- but i save it as a code (there is a column called colorcode in my database)..
reason: i don't know how to save color in database
- then i use crystal report to print the form which has a color
- but in the column "colorcode", its only show the code but not color
example: -8355585 (blue color)
- please help me with any idea, how can i print a color instead of a code..

It doesn't know what that number means. You'll have to save the string name of the color in the database too and add that column to your report if you want to do this.
