I receive an e-mail saying i have a reply or something, and I click on the link to the message. Instead of being taken to the message, i get taken to the first page of the forum it is in, but here is the interesting part. If i click 'Next', or any page number, i then get taken to the post.
Now that is strange.
An example is:

These half-working links are also found when you click somebodies username, and view their posted messages.

Hi All,
A couple more minors:
1) [CAPTION] text of a table is using a larger font than [BODY] or [P].
2) When using the Upload Submission Wizard, the wizard incorrectly escapes comment, so that the comments show at text in the article.
3) Pretty printer interprets three slashes as a C# comment, even when lang=c++ is specified. This means '/////////' is renedered using two difrerent styles: the first three are C#, the reaming C++.

Interesting. IE is using a font size of 12 for 14 for the [CPATION].

In the Wizard, I built a table which I had never seen on the web. So I snuck in a "" to help track if anyone snatched it. The wizard escapes the comment charcters, so that they are displayed (rather than passing them unescaped).

Hi,
First, congratulations on your move to .NET (finally). I now expect to see some new site features based on this move
A few bugs I noticed:
1. Login doesn't always stick, even when I tick the Remember me checkbox
2. Categories in articles aren't comma seperated anymore but joined together with no spaces at all
3. Files can be downloaded also when not logged in (succeeded a few days ago)
4. Preferences doesn't always stick
5. This article: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/IP/chatter_box_chat.aspx[^] has been posted 3 times, and cannot be accessed using any of the links it provides...

I've noticed a few test submissions which are not cleanly deleted (even if cancelling prior to Step 4). Perhaps a 'Test Submittal' run would be in order.

Hi All,
I've notices some message bords return an error message after posting, even though the post is successful. Modifying the post after the submitting does not create another error.
I also noticed that the ticket number does not seem to be monotomically increasing.

If I click the "submit an article" link from the side menu I get taken to the article wizard. I then click the next button which takes me to the "Step 1 of 4 - Naming and Setup" page and I get a message below it saying "You have not came from the correct page. Please go to Article Submission wizard first."
No matter what I try I can't get past this - anyone else having this problem?

Hi All,
Not sure where you are in the tweaking process, but I've noticed articles with lots of grahics show some graphics, but not others. Right clicking, and selecting 'Show Image' brings them up immediately.
I've seen this before in IIS. Concurrent connections are set too low. So when (concurrently) requesting 10 different images, the server will drop a certain number to enforce the constraint.

Hi Jeff, in another thread I read Chris & Co temporarily reduced some timeout values
to lessen the remaining performance problems. It seems if you want to publish lots of
pictures, you will have to write more articles now.

When I looked at the preview for a post with this button checked, I noticed the following issues:
1. Escape sequences like & were being resolved in the preview, but NOT resolved in the post
2. I had a tag (<pre>) in the message, which was AUTOMATICALLY closed at the end of the preview AND in the actual post (completely incorrect)
3. The signiture appeared as an HTML-like string, which looked really crappy in the preview. Again, this was correct in the actual post
Issues 1 & 3 were wrong in the preview, but correct when actually posted. Perhaps after you guys work out the big issues, you could knock out this minor inconvenience as well. (At which time I also suggest you do smiley parsing FIRST, then parse the HTML, so I can do things like &#58;0 without getting a smiley!) Thanks,

Hi Chris,
Once the site is stabilized and the final wrinkles are worked out, CP might consider adding a META tag or comment with the server name serving up content.
This would aide in tracking down issues which are based on per server configurations and local stale data. For example, I could offer, "Server XYZ seems to have stale article images for ...". With me viewing the source, CP staff does not have to grep servers looking for the specific issue.
