Be clear about the client and server. if some one can access the hard disk of the client machine without user interaction then the virus will easily distributed among the internet.

My problem is
I created a button control dynamically at runtime using placeholder in asp.net. when i click the button it doesnt call the event which i have given in the program. tell me how can i invoke an event for the button control. 
My coding is

Hi Navaneeth
I can't put the code into the oninit because Initially i ve to give the input in the form of two dropdownlist values like check in and check out dates and then it ll dynamically creates a table consists of values with a button in a row. If i put the code into oninit method it cause some error as "null value is given to the value of dropdownlists" give me some example generation of dynamic creation of controls based on the inputs.

I'm having a problem to show a confirmation messageBox when i press my LinkButton inside my gridview..Currently i'm using gridview_RowDataBound Event :

This belongs in the SQL forum, where I'd advise you to look into how google works. Parameters are specified by adding them to the parameters collection, heaps of info on the web, or in your books.

Oh.... see, not only was this entirely a SQL question ( did you post it there ? ), but you were not asking what I thought you were asking. I kept asking you how you called the proc, b/c I thought you wanted to know how to pass the parameter into the proc. Really, you wanted to know how to write a stored proc in the first place. This is where posting code really helps, if you'd done that in the first place, I'd have made sense of your question and answered it ( the way you pass params into a proc depends on how you're calling it in .NET code, that's why I kept asking that and not giving a full answer ).

i am manually creating the record no in the table , database - sql-server
when i see those records in the crystal reports , it is comming in arbitrary order.
Is there any way to arrange the records in an order.All i want is that , can i use the order by clause in crystal reports.
