An unhandled exception of type 'System.Net.WebException' occurred in System.Web.Services.dll Additional information: Could not establish connection to network. if i open the http://localhost/WebService/WebService.asmx in my web browser it works fine ! and i'm also using DefaultCredentials. You will have to get the port 80 opened to get this link accessed. Re: find particular column in a gridview row Laddie10-Apr-08 23:15 Laddie 10-Apr-08 23:15  1) I assume it shoudl be something like GridView1.DataKeys[index] Because GridView1.SelectedDAtaKey will be null because you have't selected the row. 2) May be you can set the tagname or command name of the button to the index of the the row during binding. So in the ItemCommand you can use this to find out the index. Will my database be overridden or what? I believe also that the machine.config file has the connectionstring of this database, so what will happen when the aspnetdb is attached at runtime to sqlexpress on the server and at the same time there's another one with the same name for another application on the same server??? thanks Re: More than one aspnetdb on one server??? Laddie10-Apr-08 23:24 Laddie 10-Apr-08 23:24  You can set the connection string for the ASPNETDB in Sql Express per application. In IIS go to the ASP.NET tab Edit Configuration > General Tab.
