Hi,
I am trying to call a .Net class from flex by using third party tool
webORB , i installed weborb,i created a project having reference to
this webORB virtual directory created automatically , i gone through
all the security issues and devlopement and deployment process, but
when i run my application it is works fine.
But when i Exports Release Build, i get error:
faultCode:Client.Error.MessageSend faultString:'Send failed'
faultDetail:'Channel.Security.Error error Error #2048: Security

giving error like this.
I copied crossdomain.xml to root url , but still i am getting this error .
this is my crossdomain.xml file :

Hi all,
I am working in authentication process of my project. I want to know whether their is any concept or arch. or technology is available, that in msn messenger or in yahoo messenger having security feature- if the two user know a password and id. but one can only use the id at a time, if other one try to logging in means it will automatically show that user already logged.
Is any technology/concept is available now?

I have also also handled the same type of situation.I used SQL server for it.When a user logged in by a ID,I make a entry in DB,whenever any user try to log in ,it first check whether there is any entry to corresponding ID in DB,if yes,then showing the message the user is already logged in.

If session mode is inproc then session values stored in server. I need to see the physical path of the session stored in server for some security resons.

Besides, AFAIK it is stored in memory.

session mode inporc - then it will store in web server etc.

Not really sure what you're asking - but if you want to understand the different ways of using/storing session state, I suggest you try Google - there are plenty of texts explaining them all.

hi,
i have a requirement in which if the user disables javascript in browser the form submit should work. if javascript is enabled it should use ajax , otherwise postback.For this i am using an update panel in which there are 2 dropdowns,depending on first dropdown selection second dropdown items should populate in a ajax maner if javascript is enabled , otherwise postback. these two dropdowns are inside an update panel
if javascript is disabled i am making ScriptManager1.EnablePartialRendering property to be false for full page postback.But it is not working . please help

If JavaScript is disabled then ScriptManager won't do the partial rendering.

i have gridview and one of thats column are checkboxes. if i check the top of the check box all of the check boxes checked. but if i paging it and set it that show 5 items in each page just checked 5 checkboxes in first page . but i want all of the checkboxes checked in other pages too.

You most probably, you should create an event that updates the datasource for the GridView (particularly the field that is updated with the checkmark value) when you check mark your checkbox. Otherwise, it is not like the other pages exist. They are generated as you move from one page to the next - on demand.

Hi,
You have to maintain the gridview's data in a datatable which itself should be stored in a viewstate. If the requirement permits you then in checkbox's click event just maintain a flag in the datatable. Otherwise, do it in the PageIndexChanged event of the grid. But, you also need to check the actual row index of the datable which will be dependant to the Per Page data count and the row no. in the data page. Just check it.

I was wondering how I could draw in a Panel. If I create a Panel like
Panel panel = new Panel();
panel.Width = 1000;
panel.Height = 750;
this.Controls.Add(_panel);
In Windows Forms, I could call the PaintEvent but there is not PaintEvent in asp.net is there? So how do I draw lines and such on a web form? Also the Panel control in the windows forms has a location property but the Panel web control does not? Thanks
