hi all,
With reference to my earlier query,i found out that the security settings is the main issue.It works 5n in IE6.0 irrespective of the security settings(whethr medium,low-medium or high) whereas in IE7.0 if we change the security settings to medium-high the address bar and the title bar becomes visible which causes concern.Can any one tell me whethr it is possible to control the security settings via coding?if yes then how?

Good grief - of course not!! Just imagine if any web site you visited could control the security settings of your browser!

Thanx phil..i knew that tis not possible..tats y i made anothr statement in my earlier mail for other alternatives?k tell me whether is it psble to get/retrieve the security settings via coding and give an alert for the user to change his browser security settings to Low and proceed?

can I use both atlas:ScriptManager and asp:scriptmanager in the same form
I need to use both atlas extenders and ajax extenders which requires scriptmanagers in the same form.

generally we cant have multiple script managers in a single page.
I dont know exactly .. but I dont think it is a good idea for using one Beta product with the Original one ....

Yeah I know about now allowing multiple script managers in a single page.
I just tought that you can do it if it is from different toolkits.
Ill look for another workaround

AFAIK you can’t change any client side printer settings using javascript or server side scripting. An ActiveX control may help.

Hi,
The situation is like this....
I have a grid showing "FileName" as link...
For "FileName" i placed ContextMenuStrip that contains a linkbutton(Save) when i click on "Save" , i need which FileName should i need to save. For that i need the parent client id of Save. Is this way is correct?

With this code, I got new row in the datagrid.
But the problem Occurs, When the pagesize exceeds.
Here I have given pagesize as 10.
Assume there is 10 rows.Now When AddNewRow button is clicked, I should get new row in next page.(Total 11 rows).10 in first page and the new row in next page.
How can I get this?

i am using Mozilla FireFox in that how to write the code for closing the web application so that the firefox is closed.i tried using window.close() but it works for IE not for FireFox...

Do you mean that you want to close the browser for any event ?
Just write a javascript for that you can try below one
window.opener = self;window.open('','_parent','');window.close();

Sorry not its not working
I searched the web and found that for FireFox 2.0 and above it won't work.FF don't allow to close the browser using javascript
If the window is opened using javscript then only it can be closed

But while running the pages master page content is coming. I have to mention anything in masterpage or contentpage ????

May be the problem is master page path. I don’t think ‘~CommonMaster.master’ is valid.
