please can some body hepl me completing this programm
program 1
create a table in access Student_Information with 2 columns First Name,Last Name,Address
Enter 5 records in this table
Write a Console Application and do the following
a. Read the records from the table
b. write all the records one by one in a file in the following format
Name:First Name Last name,Address:Address
program 2
-create a table in access Student_Information with 2 columns First Name,Last Name,Address
-create a console application
-create a class with following properties Name,Address
-read each row from the table;create an object of Student class for each of the row.
-store the information of this row in the Student class
-Do the XML serialization of each of the object.Note that the file names for each of the serialized object should be generated
uniquely(using any convention)at runtime and should not be hard coded

Hi,
I have Ajax Tabcontainer with in the TabPanel I used User Control.I have two <div> in each UserControl. Whenever the TabPanel Changed i wish to display the First <div> in the User Control with in that User Control.
But I don't Know how to do this? which Event Fire when the TabPanel is changed ? Please give Solution.

You mean, whenever you change the TAB, only first Div will show ?

I'm trying out this Office Viewer component on my aspx page. After adding the provided sample html code to the page the designer displays the object correctly. At runtime the control works too. But I cannot see this object in the code behind. I'm trying to use the Register tag but I cannot get it to work. How can I reference this object in the code behind?

if so... unless they changed something since i used it last, it's a brower pluggin not a component, I beleve you can not access it using the codebehind.

There could be few issues that u need to resolve for this code.
Firstly if you are having multiple rows in your database and you are trying to fetch those values in a single text box using DataReader then only the last record would be visible to you as the TextBox will be set to the last value only..... Secondly for using DataReader and SqlCommand you need an open connection so you need to specify an sqlconnection object and put it like
SqlConnection con = new SqlConnection();
con.Open();
sqlcommand com=new sqlcommand(query,con);
DataReader dr=com.ExecuteReader();
while(rdr.read())
{
textbox.text=rdr["fieldname"].getstring();
}
con.Close();
As DataReader is readonly and forward only so only the last value is available to the TextBox control. To avoid that and to retrieve all the values try some listbox or combobox. Best of luck!!!

double the column name, check if you have value for that field in the database.
check if you are even getting any rows. Also check if you are even coming into the while loop function let's say for instance.
while(dr.Read()
{
textbox.Text="I am here";///so at least you know some rows are being returned.
}

I find some funny behavour in VS 2005. When i type window. i get to see the focus method but when i do window.opener. i don't see the focus() method.
Although it works fine when i do window.opener.focus(); but my question is that how am i suppose to know if lets say focus() method is actually a real method and it's supported by the window.opener.
I am having real difficulties looking after what is supported and what's not.
Is there an Javascript API like how we have msdn2 for asp.net, C#.
I would be benefited from your insight.

vs 2k5 isn't the best javascript writing tool.
vs 2k8 is better but still not that great.
learn the dom api instead of relying on intellisense you'll be glad you did.

I am trying to pass filter values from a webpart to a consumer. The vlaues are listed in a CheckBoxList. The databinding occurs in the GetValues method.
I have 2 issues:
a) When i select the values from the consumer web part(checkboxlist) and hit apply(i have added a imagebutton with autopostback attribute set to true) the checked values appear in a comma seperated string within a textbox but the values are lost after postback.
b) If I take the databind from getvalues and put it in Page_LoadComplete with if(!this.Page.IsPostBack) then, the values dont even appear in the checkboxlist.
How do i resolve this issue?
I'm pretty stumped. I've been staring at this thing for over 2 days now. Please find attached the code i'm working with. There is a javacript handler attached to the checkboxlist that correctly identifies the values selected. I guess it gets messed up on PostBack event.

Hi All...
I am using Timer Control in User control (.ascx) page. In that page I placed the timer inside the updatepanel.
But wherever am using the usercontrol, that pages also have so many updatepanel. Because of that when every time the timer ticks, page should be refreshed.
The timer event works fine but the remaining like grid load should loaded once again.
Whats the problem....? How can I do it....?

Hi,
i working on asp.net project ,
i want to localize the date in the report(rdlc),
if i use Hebrew Localization the date should be dd/mm/yyyy
and if i use English Localization it should be mm/dd/yyyy.
i am using date type in the dataset [set on local mode] - didn't help
i have tried to to change date to string and localize the date - didn't help.
what will solve this problem ?

In which event you are creating the TextBox. You have to create the control Before Page_Load(), other wise you will not able to get ViewState Data and PostBackData.
If you want to know more, please go through the ASP.NET Page Event LifeCycle.

Hi everyone....is there any one having idea of domain check availability code in asp.net using C#....
I have a TextBox where user can enter the domain name as their wish.....and the next control is the DropDownList where user can select the extensions like .org,.com,.net etc and also there is a submit button and once if any one hit the submit button it shows whether the domain is available or not...and it should shows the result in the label..If anyone can help me out..and surely it will be appreciated...Advance thanks....
