Hello Community,

I am featuring a an article series on XAML Graphics. The motif is to bridge the gap between Architects, Designers, and Developers. Since I would like to imerse myself in the culture of The Code Project, I would like some voluntiers to mentor my articles. I'm looking for Gold members above who meet the qualifications for Gold based on # of articles submited. An MVP would really be grand.

Hi,

I don't think I could really help you as English isn't my primary language and me being completely unfamiliar with XAML. I was planning on studying WPF and XAML however a deluge of suckage messages in the lounge have made me avoiding those subjects so far.

Hope some one will come forward and help you though.

Hi,
I am not able to post my blogs in Codeproject.
I mentioned the Feed URL and also in the content of my post I mentioned -

Currently only one technical blog is displayed but while clicking it's saying that it's deleted.
But still I have that post in my orginal site.
Please help me out.

Hi All,

I have sent update for two of my articles almost one month back (mid May). Still it has not been updated. Frown | :(

Does anyone know how much time it Codeproject would take to update an article (when the update is sent via email)? Confused | :confused:

I have sent multiple articles reminding them of the same, but no reply.

Hi Charles,

It depends on if your article is already published or you are beginning to post it.

Beginning to post:
- From http://www.codeproject.com/info/Submit.aspx[^] you click on "Article Submission Wizard"
- Fill in details: Basename, title, etc.
- The next screen is your chance to submit files, click the "Browse" button, and then select your zip file to be uploaded

An already posted article (only if it is unedited)
- Click on "Modify" in the top right corner of your article
- The next screen is your chance to submit files, click the "Browse" button, and then select your zip file to be uploaded

An alredy posted article (edited)
- Send the zip files you want updated to submit@codeproject.com, along with your article's URL

If you want to give some image reference with your Message Reply, the only thing that you can do is, upload the image on any image hosting site and give the url over the message.

My Name is Allah Rahim Khan J, i wrote a article "Parse a PE (EXE, DLL, OCX Files ) and New Dependency Walker" and a another article on API Hooking which is not yet accepted since editing is going on, but unfortunately my yahoo ID(allahrahimkhanj09@yahoo.com) is deleted from yahoo server. Then i recreated the same ID and now my articles are not accessable to me, even after i have recreated my yahoo ID, please help Frown | :(

You need to post this on the Site Bugs/Suggestions forum, which is monitored by the site admins - they do not look at this forum very often.

In a couple of hours searching, I couldn't find the article where the author describes some sort of algorithm for credit viability application, weighting of results and such. It was posted not so long ago, in last couple of months, but I just cannot nail it down, can anyone tell me the link for it?

My technical posts are automatically inserted to this site from my BLOG: http://weblogs.asp.net/SteveWellens[^]

They look fine in the my BLOG but after they are auto-posted here, the code is messed up.

I've tried:

-Pasting in the original Word document.
-Pasting in the rendered HTML from the original article.
-Pasting in the raw HTML from the original article into the 'HTML' editor.

I'm having to edit the code blocks by hand and the editor seems to jump around like an angry chicken with its head cut off and its ass on fire.

If anyone has any suggestions, tips or links I'd be grateful.

Hi. I haven't quite finished writing my article, (it's still marked with the status "composing") but it has decided that it won't display under "My Articles". I can still go in and edit it, assuming I remember what the url is. (ie: look in my history)...

please ppls help me with this problem.............I made a program with C# and prepare a set up to be installed to the user computer...........but after u install it u can open many instances of the program @ one time............so how can i make it to be opened only 1 @ a time......if i didnt make that my buyer is not going to buy me.......so plz help me(my email is getmati@fastmail.fm )...thank you all

You can get an answer from this site (this site being Code Project) but not this forum/message board. This one is specifically for answering questions related to writing articles for the site. You weren't advised to post on another site, rather to post in a different forum (one related to programming questions, such as the C# forum.)

Also, please don't post the same question in multiple forums. This isn't going to get you an answer any faster.

Updating an old article

I've published an article some time back and now have some updates I would like to add to that article, however I don't see an option to do that (I use the same user ofcourse - brochpirate).
Can you help me regain access to that article's 'update' option?

If you can't edit the article, this means that your article has been edited. What you need to do now, is get a copy of the article's HTML and make your changes at your end, then submit your updated article via email.
