Thanks. Maybe you could also:
- put the comments count and hyperlink closer to the Q&A counts and hyperlinks too, the order is all but logical as it is.
- turn those prolific, legend, and other fancy titles into hyperlinks, pointing straight to the table of the FAQ page.

My most recent article shows as deleted when Web19 is picked. This is the article:
An MVVM friendly approach to adding system menu entries in a WPF application[^]
On Web19, I get the following message:
We're Sorry, but the article you are trying to view has been deleted. Please go to the Windows Presentation Foundation Table of Contents to view the list of available articles in this section.
Would be great if you could fix that. Thank you.

Using FireFox 3.6 on Windows 7...
When I try to respond to a quick answer, or reply to a message in a form, the editor control does not get the focus. Sometimes, it starts to get the focus, but then looses it as the page finishes rendering.
This is highly annoying because I'm not a touch typist and by the time I look up at the screen, the page is freaking out because I've typed a hot key or some such thing.
I think you can duplicate it in (quick answers) by clicking the "answer" button, and click the edit field immediately upon it being displayed. Then, and the controls underneath the edit field are rendered, the focus goes away from the edit field.

I have verified that this does not happen in IE7 on Vista (my machine at work).
BTW, if you reply to a messgae or go into quick answers and reply answer a question, you don't even have to click the edit field. The cursor initially appears in the field, and then disappears, like another control is gaining focus. Again, this is with Firefox 3.6.

There is a link under the Announcements section on the left of the page that says "Approve Applicants". It is linked to http://www.codeproject.com/script/Membership/Modify.aspx. That seems to open my settings page. Surely this is not what it's supposed to link to, is it?

I know we have the CP MVP's link at the left, and I've seen a few other member types (mentor, admin, staff), but I have not seen Protector or CP Associate, or Editor. (At least I'm not seeing the icons in the message boards.) I'd like to see a link for these other types of members. Also, what's the criteria for becoming a Protector out of curiosity?

Supporter is an old, deprecated type that I've not yet removed.
Protector is an old type that came about when an even old system was removed. It was given to members who had been helping out with editing content and minor moderation. There is no specific criteria in place for it to be awarded.

The Who's Who pages used to have special terms for people having created some number of articles and messages, writer, personality, fixture, and the like. Half of those terms have been abolished by the new rep system, the other half (relating to message count) still exists, however the legend isn't present any more.

Thanks for a truck load of new nouns and adjectives. 
It still isn't clear to me what the words next to the message count mean; it should be explained on the page, or a link should be provided.
And if they were to correspond to Debator designations, I wouldn't be very happy about that, as the vast majority of my messages are posted in programming forums, and are either answers or replies trying to answer a question.

On the profile page you could turn the magic words into hyperlinks pointing straight to the table though.

This has been going on for a week or two, but it took me a while to figure out what was to blame for my last visited flag occasionally getting reset.

When you visit, your 'last visited' date is loaded in order to mark which messages are new, and then updated with the current time in preparation for the next visit. If you click a link from the newsletter, and if this link opens a new window (instead of replacing the current window) then you're starting a new session which will load the last visit time that was just updated in your previous window.

When/why did this change? I've been reading the news at home before bed and having the forums still have everything unread when I first visit them the next morning for years.

Nothing's changed at all. As soon as you start a new session, either by opening a new window, or by doing nothing for 20 mins then refreshing, your "last visited" date will be updated.
The only thing I can think of doing is, when you login, to check if you are currently logged in with another session elsewhere. If you are then we could suppress the update of the last visited date.
This actually ties in with an aold request from Shog to give users the ability to log out other sessions using their account currently active (eg. you leave an internet cafe, realise you're still logged in, so you remotely disable that login session).
