Ok, done, I think i have asked nicely.

It's based on the filters. Even though I didn't specifically select the filters, it was using "C#, ASP.NET, MOBILE", and of course, it couldn't find any questions with those three tags. When I cleared the filters, it found all of the active questions.
The bigger question is how did those filters get set? I have never specified any myself.

When you bookmark an article, the bookmark icon changes to an "is bookmarked" icon.
Shouldn't clicking that unbookmark the article (in case you change your mind)???
