I know but I can't find the forum for the zoomit app.

An alternative to InnoSetup, for the masochistically inclined, is the very powerful WiX[^]. Don't forget to download the Votive[^] pack for Visual Studio integration of WiX.

Hmmmm. WiX. WPF. Masochism. Is there a trend there?

Answering questions in the forums...
Yup, there's a definite masochistic streak going on there.

Despite being free, this utility has proven over the years to be one of the best and most popular installers for Windows programs. My clients use it for both shrink-wrap and in-house applications.

Looks cool, my colleagues suggested WiX[^] & NSIS[^]. But I'm going to use this one.

It's a great product.
I forgot to mention the support forums, if you have any questions.

I'll give it a try. I spent a while bashing my head against NSIS, so if Inno is easier, I'm sold.

One of the nice things with Inno is that there are third-party GUI interfaces to Inno Setup. With these, you can roll an installer in less than 30 minutes.
The third-party tools are listed here: http://www.jrsoftware.org/is3rdparty.php[^]

Great tool for installing your favourite apps and tools after a rebuild. Go to the site, click the ones you want installed, and voila!! It creates an installer that will install the selected items without further user interation, including saying no to toolbars etc...

I found this a while ago, but like many of these UML tools I soon found "features" that made it unusable. It lasted slightly longer than most though.
I've absolutely given up on UML now - I decided that when I found massive inconsistencies in the "standard" XMI documentation of the UML metamodel that the standard itself was half-baked that the initial idea seems to have lost its way somewhere.

I've been using UMLet[^] for a few years now and find it terribly easy and it does what it says on the tin.

Is this project actually associated with London Underground or did they just steal their logo? (It is a registered trademark which is somewhat ironic since the UMLet FAQ page starts with an ad for "UK Trademark Registration". Go figure.)

AFAIK, there is no association.
