Which menu goes off the screen? Also, which item/topics do you feel are scattered.

Go to Articles->Chapters and Sections, have a look at that jumbo size menu panel which comes with scroll bars. Let me know if you need more examples

Which browser are you using? That flyout is meant to take up no more than 90% of the screen, and to fit inside the screen. Could be a bug.

I know what he's getting at here Chris. If the flyout isn't big enough for all the content, it displays scrollbars inside it.

Maintaining the current features but enhancing the look. And look means layout, color, font etc... so that it is more readable and easy to use/search as this site provides such a huge knowledge and people tend to spend so much of their time searching/reading articles.

That's easy to say, but a lot harder to achieve. The font is fine as it is - it's a standard web font. Colour - well, that's not too bad either. As to layout, I agree that it can seem a little schizophrenic at times, but it actually serves a purpose, which is to get the articles and questions/answers to the fore as easily as possible.
Rather than just come up with some vague terms, why don't you mock up how you think it should look for Chris and the team? They are reasonable people - but don't mess with the colour scheme too much as this is now part of the CP brand.

I understand it isn't an easy job but something that should be done.
I do have a good plan provided I am given a chance to work with. As far as color are considered, I didn't mean to change colors but to use them appropriately. I am sure you must have walked throught several big brand's sites who have changed their sites time to time without loosing any color or brand.

It's the mobile version that lags behind. The desktop version is nice enough as it is.

The site's forums are the best out there (usability is better than MSDN forums, reddit, digg, and slashdot). Of course it's been this good for years now, so that explains why there haven't been many major UI changes. It's way harder to improve things once things get really good.

"Better" is relative. So what may seem "better" to one person may not to another.
That said, why don't you mock up a few screenshots/design-diagrams of what you have in mind? That'll be sure to help.

However, my comment of general praise for Marc's article, directly as a comment on the article itself, receives, as expected +1.
Of course, it would delight me to find that CP had a new AI-neural-net comment scanning algorithm, running on a loaner "Watson," from IBM, that was able to judge erudition and wit, upgrade comment status, and reward appropriately

Points are awarded based on the comment type. The original comment by Unruled Boy was marked as a question, and your post was marked as an answer. Since Watson is busy playing chess or something we have to rely on what we get. It's an imperfect science.
