calling procedure from java/application
I want to call a procedure which executes one query [update and select combined] and return the selected content back to application. How this can be done?

this is the query that i want execute in a procedure and i want the query to return the selected column value. is it possible?

Hi,
I've a simple java code to send email to from my application, but issue is with formatting of emails, previously i had written plain text mail and used \t and \n to format email and format was correct on my laptop outlook using windows7 but when i openned this in outlook on windows server 2003 then the format was not correct. then I used html tag to format the email body and that was again fine on outlook2007 on my laptop using windows7, outlook-6 on another pc using windows-XP, but again on outlook-6 on windows server 2003 the format was not correct even its like that on windows server it removed all html like un-formatted plain text mail.
so please any idea to format the email so that it works on almost all known OS's
I've used
MimeMessage msg = new MimeMessage(mailSession); object to send email with for html msg type used is "text/html"
msg.setContent(message, "text/html");

I can only note that my email client always displays html as text because I specifically set it up that way.

Is Windows Server 2003 in combination with Outlook 6 really a goal to go for?
Is it in the specification?
Otherwise I would ignore it. WIN7 and XP is common used.
What is e.g. Thunderbird saying?
Can you compare the raw email received by the different systems?

Oops! JSP == Java Server Page (a server-side relative of ASP), so this forum is a better fit. At least as good as posting C# ASP questions in C#.

please make use of ajax. Ajax can help u in getting required details from one table with out submitting ur jsp page, the received data can be passed to the other table when u submit the jsp page.
