The ones between the Bugs and the Pugs can be called Mugs, the bugs which do not trouble the users can be called Hugs and the bugs that pull along the entire app to perdition can be called Tugs.

what about giving them a classification from a to z depending on their size
Augs, bugs, cugs,..., Zugs

I took the apple approach and just call them features.
Common sense is admitting there is cause and effect and that you can exert some control over what you understand.

As many of you will know, Visual Studio does this thing where if you put 'todo' in a comment, it will compile these into a big catalogue of procrastination in the task window.
Every day for the last eight years I've lived by the rule of never to open that window, but this morning I erred. Christ, it's like reading a bank statement. For the love of God, do not do this....

Rob Philpott.

If you publish this as a Tip/Trick, I will upvote it and bookmark it. It sounds like it could save a few careers.

It's on my todo list.

Check out this[^] thread it might help you.

I find it really useful - I even included "TODO" comments into my revised class and form template files to remind me to fill in the XML comment headers.
There is rarely more than half a dozen items in my list.
The only instant messaging I do involves my middle finger.

Yes, it is a good idea as long as you come back. I treat it more like a draw where you chuck stuff and forget about it. Things still work, but they could be done better. If only there was time (and will).

Then instead of using TODO, use #warning[^] or #error[^]

I rarely do a checkin with open ToDo comments. I often use them during development when I'm editing multiple classes at the same time. I think it's a great feature.
You know where you have still things to do. You get a general idea what you have to do and you get the exact location where you need to do it.

I love em, I encourage all our devs to use them and lead by example. And if I see a todo make it into production I have someone to bitch at (we work on small LOB apps that may take as little as a couple of months to build)
Never underestimate the power of human stupidity

You've made your to-do such a way that you would now need item in your to-do to clear to-do.

Can you do this without ReSharper? Didn't know that!

Yes you can. Actually there's quite a lot VS can do which people think is Resharper - renaming a property/method/field everywhere for instance.

Ruby and Pearl (Perl) would also be fine names.

lets get it more esoteric - like
Whitespace
BrainF**k
Befungi
Cow
LOLCODE
Loopy
or
Zombie - zombie would be a nice name for a girl - she already has her own song
is this a signature ?

Thanks for link, but I already know that Dependency Injection is just a load of agile propoganda spouted by militant socalists. Interface first, my foot.
