I think that the current report as spam / abuse works just fine. There are only isolated instance of aggressive trolling. And the CP Spartans can always remove the account of a troll. If it gets created multiple times, we can remove it multiple times, it's just few more clicks. I don't think blocking a troll for few hours can make a difference. We need to outcast trolls with complete ignorance to make them stop.
Giving CP Members ability to block IP Address that easily will create more problems than solve a problem.

Someone posted that as a suggestion not too long ago. I guess it's not all that different from the filters you can set up for QA.

I actually used to smoke around 20 per day, sometimes a little more, and I cost me a fortune, not to mention the health risks involved. However to stop smoking is not that easy, as I can’t really just quit in a day, as I would get so heavy abstinences that I would just start again, so I had to try something different.
To people that haven’t smoked, It’s quite difficult to explain how it feels, and then especially the first smoke in heavy abstinence feels or when it has been a substantial time (usually more than 5 – 6 hours) since the last cigarette. At first you would just feel as one would expect as smoke fills your lungs, but then after 2 or 3 puffs I get a prickly sense in the skin at the arms, and get mildly dizzy, as one can get with (the right amount) alcohol... However the next 19 cigarettes that day feels nothing like this sadly, as the nicotine isn’t that effective (delicious or delirious) in large quantities.
What I did was to let it pass 2 hours between each cigarette, and within two days gradually increase this time to 4 hours between each cigarette. The last cigarette I took, I stopped about half way, before the prickling in the hand started, and that was it. Now three days and some hours later, I haven’t touched a cigarette. Mind you, I did this successfully some years earlier as well, but that time I managed to stop for 6 months before being at a party, where some pricks gave me a cigarette and told me how good it was. I was rather drunk as well, but this time I’m definately going to quit for life.

This is why I only smoke one cigarette a day.
People (doctors and nurses mostly) as me what is the point of just one a day.
The point is, of course, that it is bloody lovely.

I don't get addicted to things, but I also have very little will power.
I can happily not buy cigarettes and not smoke for months at a time. If they are being offered around then I often will have one. Fortunately I am not often in such a situation, and having more than two or three soon becomes unpleasant.
It is the same with chocolate and biscuits and the such like, I don't buy it, don't miss it, if it is lying about I'll scoff the lot.

Its much easier to not start, saves you a lot of money as well, at lest here in Norway, It costs about 9.40£ for a pack of 20...

Probably I loose that money in the pub drinking..
My boss actually smoked like you, now it's much less, also due to the price (In Switzerland it's 8 to 9 Francs a pack (~7.50 Euro), they want to put it to 10 Francs by law..
Also the fact that you cannot smoke any more in offices, bars, restaurants, just the open street or home..

I know, but it is a member of EFTA[^], and they have signed the Schengen agreement[^] which forced many regulations from EU as a deal to join the EU marked.

That's awesome that you made the choice and had the will power to do it. I have never smoked but I understand it is very hard to stop.
I also understand drinking grapefruit juice helps. Something in it supposedly helps to suppress the itchy desire that you get.

It is indeed. I found that I needed to quit in such a manner that it gradually increasted the time that I could go without one. That way I dont get moments later on where Im dying to get one

I have known people that have quit cold turkey and others like you who have taken this approach. I guess the best option is to never start but I'm glad to see that you could quit. Good job.
