So... Not really a QA question, still kind of a question though.
I just logged in to an old Live email account. As in myemail[at]live.nl. So I went to www.hotmail.com, got redirected to outlook.com or mail.live.com, whatever... The Microsoft web client for email.
That's when I found out ALL of my emails have disappeared! First thing I thought was that my account probably got deactivated or something. Maybe it had something to do with the switch from Hotmail/Live to Outlook. I don't know.
So I read that if you don't use an account for 365 days it gets deactivated. Well, I'm pretty sure that's not the case, because I have actually viewed that account on outlook.com, be it months ago.
I still got all my contacts.
The question is, why do I have an email account with no emails!?
I was thinking on switching from Gmail to Outlook, but Microsoft's very new state-of-the-art web mail client does not allow custom photo's for your contacts, does not provide some basic functionality like selecting all your contacts all at once (yes, that's something I wish to do) and appearantly deletes all your emails... I'll need some VERY convincing arguments to switch to Outlook now...
Anyone else experiencing this?

An obvious thing to check: what is the "View" option (at the top of the message list) set to? I seem to recall that it might get set to "Unread" when your account is initially migrated.

Thanks for the tip, but the view is set to "All".
There's really no email message to be found anywhere...

Part of my project for school (not the final one - that's another schedule, even though the two schedules byte each other like a Grizzly and a Wolve fighting over a dead moose) is to Draw a self-implemented 3D cylinder graph.
At least I found an example for drawing a 3D Cylinder[^] - Updated it to not show the Grid lines, made the color exchangeable and the width, height etc. editable. Just finished to draw the chart's Grid Borders (which can be a huge PITA if it is late night and you mess up X and Y coordinates, of which each line has two pairs). Whatsoever, now the only border left is to dynamically insert the 3DCylinders accordingly to a dynamic set of data. Off curse, all of that has to be fully & dynamically resizable by the dev using the end product.

I think it may be kind of interesting, especially because we sometimes encounter a huge load of Graph-related wuestions in the Q&A

Not with fox's doo-doos. My second Jack lurved fox's doo-doo like a valley-boy loves his sheep - you couldn't keep him out of it. If Mickey got into the house post-roll the entire house would stink for days afterwards. It would always be during the fox-love season that he was at his worst and he would be hosed down in the garden which achieved making him only smelly rather than the eye-melting fox-shyte stench. Then it would be the shower - easier than the bath - and hopefully he would be clean.
Until he walked outside into the garden and found the first piece of dirt to roll in. Dirty, but at least not stinking. He died, aged 21, the day of my 30th birthday. I miss that dog.

Jetwash always worked for us, on collies and collie / flatcoat crosses. Plus it had the advantage that you could keep the dog at more than arms length...

I agree, but sometimes it might come handy. Same as Office in the cloud, you can't use it for serious development but it is useful.
Instead of downloading code from CodePlex or GitHub, you can just open the project in the cloud and run it. I would like that.
