Amazing there are a few on the MVP list who haven't posted or created years.

I've raised this in Bugs & Suggestions. Chris has already replied, but I think I wasn't very clear, so I've tried to clarify.

MVP selection process on CP is unfair to me, perhaps they like some guys who has some good articles and hence they select them as mvp all time, not judging other good guy's effort on Q&A.

That's not true. As Chris said in this message[^], they choose the top 20 article authors and the top 20 Authorities (in Quick Answers and the forums).

Hi ProgramFox,
I would hope that articles would be "weighted" much more than QA actvity in selecting CP's MVP's, because anyone can quickly gain an inflated QA rep count, or bloat their existing one, with non-solutions posted as solutions.

I agree that articles should be weighted more, because they get more views and votes than answers. However, if Chris says that he takes the top 20 authors and the top 20 answerers, then I don't know about the article weight for the articles of the top answerers.

I'm sorry, but you're plain wrong. I was awarded MVP for several years. Last year, I have not been as active and I was not awarded MVP as a result. This seems to be fair to me. I knew that my inactivity would mean that I would be ineligible for the award.

We got home last night and frankly, I am knackered. The whole trip back from Durham to Woking was accompanied by heavy, persistent rain. We stopped for a few hours in York, it rained, which is a lovely city. Anyway we're home, Mrs Wife is back to work and I am waiting for the girls to awaken.
The northeast was very enjoyable and I would recommend the Redworth Hall Hotel[^], it was so relaxing and refreshing. Every morning we'd swim before breakfast and then a day of touring around. Then in the evening another swim before dinner. The restaurant has a very good menu and the bar is well stocked.
For New Year, the hotel had a Masquerade Ball to which she and I attended. All the 'great and good' were there including a couple on our table that had an uncanny resemblance to Ashley and Cheryl Cole; even down to the tasteless tats and threads. Our favourite though was a [we think] lady who had a daring backless dress, not the best choice considering she had the shape and size of a brickie. 
I think I can say we will return. We may well give 'The Toon' a miss next time, but most of what we did was very enjoyable.
