But the moment i did that, my paragraph got shifted down from the top it self(not from where i hit the enter key)and the cursor placed to the very top. So to go to the next line without hitting enter, i needed to either press space bar till the line ended or press the right arrow key till the end, then the cursor shifted to a new line. You might have to do this on an HTML level. So add a <pre> block with your code in it.
