Great, congrats ! (I am bit CP older than you.)

These days I crawled in my old messages, and I can reconstruct parts of my life (birth of children, wedding, carrier moves,...) with Lounge posts. In sugs&bugs, I could even retrieve my tiny contributions to the changes in CP...

But hell .... time flies ! Sigh | :sigh:

Some people can't handle the Lounge and they end up going crazy. Then they start posting about their drinking habits or what they had for lunch. They go so crazy they confuse the Lounge with facebook and twitter. Don't let that happen to you. Smile | :)

You think I look at lounge as it is ? there's another set of filters other than what CP offers as forum configs.
They are on my eyes. I tend to read only messages from the known names. _Known_ as in, known for a decade. Big Grin | :-D

I know it's probably a coincidence, but on the day Xp is retired, my Windows Xp VM - that I desperately need to support valuable legacy code - goes three sheets to the wind and has a self-inflicted electronic lobotomy?

I *never* surf the net on this VM, I just need it to run compilers and debuggers. I don't care about patches, updates, etc. I've been using you for 10 years, and the only time you've been unhappy is when MS patched you.

* I wrote 4 articles.

* Reached 35K mark.
* I subscribed to CP on my first job, now at my sixth.
* Shortest job experience: 3 months, longest: almost 5 years. All jobs had an average travel time between 45 minutes and 1 hour 15 minutes (one way)
* Job business ranged from hospital software to emergency call center software to space related Poke tongue | ;-P

* Longest travel time from work about 5 hours for about 25 km. (once)
* Most intensive work: 16 hours a day for 2 weeks (incl. weekends) not counting the 1 hour - 1 way travel time.
