It is not infinite, actually. For some reason just IE8 takes 20x more time to display that page than other browsers, displaying several 'do you want to stop this script' messages in meantime. I strongly recommend getting better browser.

I just noticed this bug. This is explained in my comment (comments are posted successfully) here: How do catch the text of error messages of external program[^].
Sorry, but I tried three times, so two of the answers are redundant. After the post, the page is shown normally, as it used to show just after the post. After page reloading, it shows the post as non-posted (in the edit area). After closing the page and opening it again, it shows no answer posts. Same thing happens when I terminated the browser process completely and started over.
I'm using Mozilla Seamonkey, the latest version (2.26). This is pretty much irrelevant to the manifestation of the following irregularity: my account shows 3 answers to this question, but the question page does not show them.
(And now I wonder if this post is going to show...  )

I just reproduced the problem again, in this page: Is there a way to convert a string value to an integer?[^].
My account shows my answer on this question page, but the page does not show it. Both referenced pages show 0 solutions.

The problem is not manifested anymore. The pages I referenced above low look correctly. Can anyone answer if any changes have been made?

Not really fixed. Please see the comments below. The problem is apparently intermittent.

I have seen in the bottom of this website that there is an option for selecting Layout: fixed/fluid. If the site is fluid it also supports fixed layout. So the option is not needed and I can't feel any change on clicking each option.

Make your browser window larger than, say, 1280px wide and try it.

But I think the layout is fluid it supports all platforms and resolutions. So no need for using fixed design.

its happens periodically when I refresh the page, I have also tried a ctrl F5 but this also bring up the file that Damian has mentioned

Recently the 'Big Boss' has increased the no. of reports required to remove Member account. I think it has also been increased for Messages.
Well, i think it should be decreased to some extent. Atleast for spam content because i can see many content there even after 2days or so.
Further, how about combining Abuse/Spam Flag[which is currently Abusive/Troll] because neither is accepatable and used to remove account from the site. Troll is not used more often. Now a days, Some members report content as Spam and some as Abuse which is not enough to deactivate someone's account and thus offender gets chance to post more dump.

Why are neither of these acceptable? To me these are critical. We need a machanism to remove spammers and trolls.

Generally when a member reports spam they also report the member. In fact I would say 100% of the time the member gets reported.

I wanted to say, there are 10 Abuse or 10 Spam reports required to deactivate the member's account. If 9 Abuse and 6 Spam reports will be there then it will not delete it. So if possible, can we have some mechanism in which we count total reports?

I believe the OP is saying that neither Spam nor Trolls are acceptable so why separate the two. At least that's how I understood them.

It's De Morgan's Laws[^] 
Acceptable = !Spam && !Troll
!Acceptable = Spam || Troll
A positive attitude may not solve every problem, but it will annoy enough people to be worth the effort.
