That is for groups of 6 or more. There was no gratuity: only that elephanting cfn charge and state tax (which is charged on top of the cfn 'fee').
I told the waiter that I would be deducting the extortion fee from his tip. He weren't happy.

Clarification:
It's CNF and stands for “Concession & Franchise Fee”. Worse, it's added BEFORE sales tax is calculated. It would be like going to any restauarant, getting your bill and having line items for "Electricity", "Property Tax", "City Franchise Fees" added on. Come to think of it, it's like flying now.

I've also seen some localities (not the city or county... but the planning agency) adding tax to restaurant and retail bills...

Vegas is all about hiding fees. Last time through we book the hotel online. On checkout we were told the room had another $25 a day fee not included in the price advertised. Scumbags. And the last time I book anything through Hotels.com.

All vacation hotels seem to add a "resort" fee. It is scumbaggery.

As time goes on, I keep moving forward with resolution capabilities. I always prefer the highest (so far).
I just dropped the resolution on one of my monitors to 1440 x 900 to adjust something on one of our internal tools. I can't figure out how i ever navigated computers with this resolution. It makes me think of a super mario level[^].
It's just odd that it wasn't that long ago this was normal.

I worked on a system that had a mandated maximum dialog size of 600x400. That seemed soooo biiiig.

We have some stuff here written in qbx, going between 40 column mode and 80 column mode.

I've got the opposite problem with my laptop. It's got a 3200x1800 display, and some apps have text too small and overlapping controls. For the applications that don't have jacked up formatting, the display is super nice and readable.

I think the obvious solution here is for everyone to always use the resolution I am using.
