Article Writing

Hi on Oct 14th i wrote my first article in CP and published, but still when i checked in My Article section it is showing in Draft status.May i know why? Shall i re submit it again? And now i have wrote a mail with my contents and filled article template to code project. So how soon that article may publish?

The member was me, I said about it because he was describing that the article always remains in draft version, no matter how many times he submit it. I thought it could be a problem with the article wizard. That's why I suggested to ask here.

I have seen the 2nd point of the sticky post in article writing. Posting/submiting problems belong there as well. My fault

Unable to publish

I finished an article yesterday, but for some reason I'm unable to publish. When I click "publish", I'm redirected to the preview, where it says in the sidebar that the status is "pending". However, when I leave the page and come back, the status is back to "Draft". This just keeps happening again and again. It's still listed in my list of articles with the comment: "This is an unfinished article".

Also, I'm unable to delete the files I uploaded. I uploaded a TGZ file, and for some reason a ZIP archive also appeared. When I try to delete any of them, the following error appears:

"Error occurred while deleting file. {"Message":"There was an error processing the request.","StackTrace":"","ExceptionType":""}"

I didn't think we accepted TGZ files, that might be the problem.

Yeah I considered the possibility that this is the issue. However there is no way for me to upload a different type of archive, as deleting the current one gives the error...

You can do whatever you think is necessary to get the article up Smile | :)

It's the one about PiCom & PiFTP. If all works well again, I can try to upload a different type of archive.

Just out of interest, how come you do support TAR and GZ, but not TGZ?

im using visualstudio 2010.in that not show asp.net web service template.in all versions of frame work even 3.0,3.5 also it is not shown.how to get that template to my framework......

plz as soon as posible to solve my problem

It's marked as deleted, but you can still access it and download the source code. how can I delete it for good?

A deleted article is not visible to everyone, only to the author and to users who can moderate articles.

If you want to delete it for good, you'll have to contact an admin.

I think that I'm the admin of this article, since I wrote it, and I deleted it . But every one can see my article by this link, even if you are not logged in to the Code Project.

I meant a site admin. You wrote the article, so you are called the author.

That's not true. If I'm logged out, I can only see the title, not the content.
