OK, so I believe it is an alien ship. I believe they are out there and really very smart. Much smarter than us. They may or may not like us. If they did, they sure would have showed up in public.

It IS a spaceship, but they are "'avin' a larf". Being so advanced they got to extraordinary lengths to amuse themselves including elaborate set-ups to wind up lesser beings.

 I constantly get annoyed with the missing option to 'shut down without updating' when needing to pack up the laptop. Yesterday morning, when it needed to apply 19 updates, I gave up and let it ride open in the passenger seat. I refuse to put it in the case while it is running...probably why it has lasted over 5 years now.
