I have just seen a new event pop into my rep history list for a newsletter opt-in: now, I'm maybe getting on, but don't remember having a senior moment...

It's part of the Research Library: we send notifications of new items posted that match items that members have already downloaded. However, we're making sure it's all wrapped into a formal mailing list so we can provide a simple way for everyone to remove themselves from any of these emails.
And how on Earth do you spot rep changes so quickly??

I have the same question. In the past several months, not once has that page loaded for me. It's always blank. Beginning to wonder if it's just me.

It has been very slow on occasion and same as you it hasn't worked some times just like you say. As if a timeout is occurring somewhere in the chain.

Odd, first two attempts just now worked. First time in months I've seen that page load for me. I guess it's just a load issue then. Not surprising with guys like OP refreshing the page every 5 minutes.

I would like to see the tree at left of the forums anchored to the top of the page rather than the bottom. If I'm looking at a question in the .NET forum and want to switch to one lower down, it often means having to scroll a long way down before the meniu item moves into view.

I'm assuming you have a very short window.
I've made the menu sticky specifically to reduce the scrolling that's needed, but I can see that on very short viewports there's an issue. Maybe I just disable the stickiness for short windows.

No, a normal size window on a laptop. It just seems a bit of a pain having to scroll down to get to the bottom entries, when the right hand side is already scrolled far enough. But if other people prefer the current system I'm happy to live with it.

Can it be made into a setting?
