I have found that given sufficient quantities, I can even have a serious discussion with my mother in law (certified idiot) and not worry a dang thing what I say.

Ahh!..a civilized drinker! I still prefer straight whiskey with a splash of water for taste! One of those before the social, and all was well. I met a lot of people, but can't remember a single name!  Thank goodness it's done!

Well, not all three at the same time!
I'd love to be able to partake of some nice Kentucky bourbon now and then, but it has much more smell than vodka, gin and rum in that order. My inlaws don't drink, so they tend to get annoyed if it's obvious 
However, Christmas is coming and on that day, I get to build a roaring fire in the fireplace, make my self a whiskey based drink and sit down to watch A Christmas Story. If I time it right, I will be feeling just fine when Ralphie says, "Oh fudge......"

So I was just about to read a book on some new technology.
The introduction is like "Let's have some fun with these new features!" and then I started wondering. How many people actually have a "fun" job?
A lawyer or judge? Let's have some fun with these new laws! Get people in or out of jail with the new constitution 2.0!
Perhaps a doctor... See more of your patients with these new X-ray tools, absolute fun guaranteed!
Fire fighter? These new fire hoses guarantee hours of fun!
Driver? Drive your vehicle even better with these new steering wheels, traffic jams have never been so much fun!
I'm not sure, but I don't think many professional literature uses the word "fun"...

The fact is most jobs that don't have a creative element to them are not inherently fun. The monotony will get to anyone. Being fresh and learning and keeping things new keeps us young in spirit.
Of course, what you consider fun can change as you mature. But whatever the pursuit, newness and creative gains in it is what keeps driving that "fun" ball home.

This week I was confronted with two consultants (with very known background  ).
Ok, I also tend to say "we are the best", but paid consultants (paid by whom?) becomes more and more suspect for me.
I'm thinking about to start to ignore consultants which are more or less only
