There's a really cool illusion that I like to show people when I take them on a walk at High Falls[^]. I tell them to stare for 10 or 15 seconds at the waterfall and then shift their eyes to the adjacent rock face. The rocks appear to move upwards. You can get the same affect, say, biking. Staring at the road moving toward you, and then look up at the sky (a few clouds are necessary) and the clouds look like they're receding.
It's amazing how bizarre the sensory system and the brain perceives things consciously. I finally realized that in order for me to perceive an apparent motion when none exists, that the brain is actually handling motion and shape as two completely different processes, and the imbalance caused by the over-excitation of neurons in one direction of motion results in the illusion in the opposite direction, even though the physical shape isn't changing. Re-integrate the two in the process of conscious perception, and you get the illusion that the damn rocks are moving.
Sorry, probably TMI, but it really is amazing, and the reaction people have when I show them the illusion is always amusing.

Sometimes, it doesn't even need movement.
There's a road I frequently cycle, which has forest on either side. Whichever way I'm going, it looks like the road goes uphill.
I can't even force myself to not see it going uphill.

And I've had that picture of a dress open all day, now.

It's not like the kind of files we're used to dealing with; it's a constantly changing conglomeration of memories of movements, sounds, and smells, all being constantly merged, compressed, and defragged.
That's why the old mental-telepathy thing will probably never work (at least the way described in fiction); the content of each brain is so different and independent of that of every other brain that if you transferred bits of it, the target brain wouldn't be able to interpret it.
Transferring files from one computer to another? No problem.
Transferring memory content between people? Not a hope.

I just loaded it with Paint.NET, selected half of one of the images, then dragged it next to the other image.
Interesting how you don't have to move it back very far before the colors start looking different again.

My level 100 warlock is quite the opposite of that.
I mean ranged DPS with a few healing spells, but those have been very much reduced in this expansion

So I enrolled in a Bach. Sys Admin last year and it didn't work out very well. The College was just screwed up. I've been doing a Diploma in IT (Web Dev) elsewhere since and everything's going really well.
However...
Have you noticed how everything you do at College or UNI now is all about reports?
Like... Everytime you have to do something, you gotta write a report first! That's so annoying!
I self-taught myself programming when I was 17. And I've been building lots of things for myself ever since. So when I sign up for a course, I just want the paper to say that "Yeah he can do it". But no...
They have to chuck in all of this other crap like writing Analysis' and Reports and other arbitrary junk that you can't even find any info about online.
No wonder this world is so screwed up! You can't ever get anything done anymore because we're all too busy writing freaking reports about what we're about to do!
You wanna build a database? Write a report first! You wanna create a website? Write a report first! You wanna eat dinner???
WRITE A REPORT! ...first.
Oh, what's that Evil Iceblock? You wanna take a dump?

That's pretty much the same as all the project planning stuff I had to learn. In the 5 companies I worked for in the last 13 years I've never drawn up any process or system flow charts or any Pert & Gantt charts. Every time you ask about those everybody just laughs at you.
My plan is to live forever ... so far so good

I translate your "Report" into requirement specs, design doco, use cases etc etc etc. On any reasonable size project there is a sh*t load of doco and planning to get through before you can start coding.
The idea that you can get an idea and immediately start coding only works for prototypes and toy (personal) projects.
