I'm always fascinated by wondering what sort of cosmology / spirituality sentient life on other planets would come up with. Imagine living in a start cluster like that!

That would be interesting if it were true. It's only a "cluster" from our perspective. Those stars are actually quite far apart and rather as lonely as we are. Also some of those "stars" are likely whole galaxies.

A few weeks ago MS announced that they were expanding the W10 preview to a bunch of low end phones.
I've got a Lumia 520 that does double duty as a WP8 screw around with device, and as a music player that's cheap enough I'm not worried about accidentally smashing the screen of.
Now that the weather's finally improved enough for me to start using the giant treadmill under the blue ceiling again, I'm wondering if it's worth chancing a w10 upgrade on it or not.

Windows Phone 10 is officially coming to Lumia 520, so I think the preview will work just fine. Give it a go.

I know it's officially coming; otherwise I wouldn't've asked (like I didn't do a few months ago when they offered a build for a few high end phones). There's often a difference between minimum hardware requirements, and minimum hardware requirements to have a good experience. There's also the question of driver quality and other potential bugs. I know I can; I'm asking if anyone knows if it's a good idea or not.

After installing MVC5, the only new (MVC5) project option I have in VS2012 is "Empty MVC5 application". Is that all we get when we install that? Am I missing something?

I had to go get this template - https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=C251C4580ABB8105&id=C251C4580ABB8105%213819[^]
I then copied it to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Visual Studio 2012\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual C#\Web
I was then able to create a new MVC5 project with something to start blankly at.

I never use the wysiwyg and always write my articles in the "source".
This morning, however, once I reopened my draft, it started in wysiwyg editor. It completely ruined my formatting.
I hate that stuff!

Only source. However, I also just edit locally and replace the source completely on updates. That way the editor cannot mess with my code.

I never use "the source." 
I write my articles off-line (gasp, I actually use FrontPage!) and then copy the HTML in source mode.
