A beginner's problem: I have a asp.net web-site running on a webserver.
Additionally, on this server I want to have running some other programs, which generate data as input for this web-site.
E.g. such a program/service observes a requirements-database, and generates a report. This report should be the input for the web-site and can then be accessed by users.
How can such a szenario be realized?

I try to explain:
This means, that other programs retrive data from different sources, they preprocess it, and store it, e.g. in a database.
The web-server now reads the data from this database and presents it to the user

Here i am explaining the problem that i encounter during my project. I have a project of MVC4 in that i am using Telerik controls(not kendo & not rad). The Scenario is like this,
"I have a Telerik grid in that i am showing 20 records, in this grid i have an edit button at the end of each record. When i am clicking on edit button it shows a Telerik popUp window(which is a partial view) in that window i have used one collapsible control,
first time when i click on edit button it shows the popup window at center of the screen but when i am expanding the collapsible the window goes to bottom of the screen.

Hi.
I made a server control to show google map. It works, but has a strange problem; It generates 4 google map object on html document. All the server events raise once, but Prototype initialize method raise 4 times therefore all the method like createMap called 4 times. Whats problem?

Hello.
Thanks to your reply. Well it is so hard to put related codes here, its recursive project , it needs to put all the project here for all details and i do not think anyone have enough time to read, understand, and resolve my problem with exact code. I was expecting any tip or trick and very professional notes for creating ajax server controls or javascript.
Any way i found a solution for problem. It was browser problem (I think so). After browser update, the problem is not exist there anymore.

Good day friends! Am having problem with my page design. I have a repeater control displaying many items and I placed a checkbox that users can mark then click on Delete mark button. I noticed that when I click the button, i will recieve the following error Object reference not set to an object. If I placed this button as repeater item, this error will not occur but external control will cause this error and I have tried selecting the items but still to no avail. Help please
Below are the codes am using within the button sub

I have issue that is Session Automatically Expires even session time-out sets to it maximum level. I am developing my web application in a ASP.NET MVC 5 With WEB API . There is no issue when I run it in local but when I publish it on web it session automatically expires within 55-60 seconds. Hosting provider also says that there is no issue with their server. Try having a file system watcher and see if web.config or some application files are being inadvertently modified (at least by timestamp) by indexing service, virus or other scanning service.

The session is controlled and stored by the web server, not the web app.
Or you can have an SQL server like SQL Server Express store session values as well.
The Web App, Webforms or MVC is able to add, set and delete session values.
The web.config allows you to override the settings of IIS server. In other words, you can almost completely setup the IIS Web site environment within the Web.Config file.
You have to run test in order to isolate the problem area, use critical thinking here.
So make a Session value called Test, put it on the home page, and run the page once an hour over 12 hours or so, and see if the value persist.
Response.Write the value or put it in a textbox at the top of the page.
If the value persist, then it's your MVC app.

Hi All,
I have a text box which should be disabled, but when I tried to set the value of the text box using jQuery as below, the value is not getting posted in the code behind. I tried by making the Text box read only also, still the value is not getting posted, actually I want to make it disable only but still tried with read only to see if it can be posted.
Please anybody please help me in resolving the issue, any help like a code snippet, link or even a suggestion would help me a lot.

Disabled controls will not be included in the data posted back to the server. This is standard behaviour for all browsers, and has been since HTML forms were first introduced. There is no way to change this, short of removing the disabled attribute just before the form is submitted.
Read-only controls will be included in the data posted back to the server. However, looking at the code[^], if the ReadOnly property is set, the posted value will be ignored.
If you can work with the control being read-only rather than disabled, then you can set the readonly property from Javascript instead:

Otherwise, you'll need to clear the disabled property before the form is submitted:
