Agree! That is why when I come across one.. I provide hints, which leads to the actual solution 
Being rude to them adds to the problems they are facing and demoralizes them.
Now, I genuinely feel the need of a "Like" and "Dislike" button on comments in Q&A. Just to intimate people when they turn rude and appreciate people who genuinely help.

We're moving to a new hosting centre tomorrow morning and as part of the move we need to switch to read-only while we move our data. During the move the site itself will have no downtime: you'll still be able to browse and read. It's just new content and content updates that will not be possible.
There are obviously ways and means to move masses of data from one system to another without needing to lock down the database but they would have made the move longer than necessary, and are silly expensive. By Saturday evening (again, US Eastern) we'll be back in business and you can post again.

You have reminded me to go through all my old cassette tapes and scrape off every bit I can find on them. The tapes are now about 40 years old and were not the highest quality to begin with. Despite that, most programs still can be loaded and those that don't usually can be recovered.

I have also being doing a bit of a clear out prior to a (n expected/hoped for) move and found loads of 3.5 floppies. I have also fortunately found my 3.5 external floppy drive ("acquired*) ... wondering what I am actually going to find on disks labelled "Tools"

Hahaha thats a "Good Idea"!!
However, you need to make sure that the tower/divider is durable.. (my pen holder is a bit shaky)
Idea: You can join 3 floppies together to make a thick brick and then you can join these bricks together (just like Lego blocks) and construct your master piece...

Exactly... It is really too hot around here. She does tell me everyday that it is getting hot, and I (just in a way to make a run) say, yeah, hot people live there. 
Anyways it did rain here today, I hope the clouds find the way to your area also.
